What a buyer prompt map shows you
Search no longer starts and ends with short keywords. Buyers describe their situation in full sentences, ask AI assistants to shortlist vendors and request side-by-side comparisons before they ever visit a website. A prompt map gives your SEO, content and product marketing teams one shared view of those conversations.
Every prompt is placed in a buyer journey stage, labelled by intent and scored for priority, so you can see where you must win first and which asset each prompt calls for.

Frequently asked questions
What is a buyer prompt map?
A buyer prompt map is a structured list of the questions and prompts your target buyers are likely to ask Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI search engines, organised by journey stage, intent and priority. It shows where your brand needs to appear and which pages, proof and third-party mentions it takes to get there.
How is this different from keyword research?
Keyword research starts from search volume for short queries. A buyer prompt map starts from the buyer. It covers longer, conversational prompts across the whole journey, from naming a problem to planning a migration. It does not replace keyword research. It tells you which questions to research and which assets to build.
Does the tool show search volume or real AI answers?
No. Prompts are generated from proven B2B buying-question patterns and the details you enter. The tool does not report search volume and does not query ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google. Treat priority scores as a planning guide, then test the prompts yourself to see what each engine says.
How many prompts should I track?
A practical starting point is 25 to 50 prompts balanced across the six journey stages. The auto-pick option in the Tracking set selects a balanced 25. Add more once you have a monthly testing routine.
Which AI search engines is it built for?
Prompts are written to be tested in Google, including AI Overviews and AI Mode, plus ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and assistants such as Claude and Copilot. Each engine answers differently, so test across several.
Is my data stored or shared?
The text you enter is processed in your browser and is not sent to BuzzIQ Labs servers. We may record anonymous usage counts, such as how many prompts were generated, to improve the tool, but never the text you type.
Who is this tool for?
B2B SaaS marketers, founders, SEO leads and product marketers who want to see how buyers search for their category and where their brand is missing.
What should I do after generating my map?
Build or upgrade the assets your must-win prompts point to, such as comparison pages, alternatives pages and integration pages. Strengthen review-site and community presence for prompts those sources influence, then measure mentions and citations every month. BuzzIQ Labs can help you turn the map into a plan.
